Beacon

BEACON

A beacon of hope

A beacon of light

Scattering and displaying about

For many to cope

And to move away from the dark

While looking through a lighted scope

That prevails mainly at night

But also, in many other places

And facets of life

With wrong versus the right

Good against evil

Just to secure the will

And no more blood spilled

As time will reveal

In order to bring about change

And hope that it can be sealed

Away for the benefit of all

The good and welfare

That refuses to cede to a fall

Yet proceed down the hall

To a much better place

Though it in itself

Is completely unknown

Serving the right and forgetting the wrong

Exiting and escaping to the left

To the pathway all along

And no place else

Casting light outwards

Yet bringing hope forward

And in such a way

That it’s not dealt precariously

And becoming the very thing

That many will seek

Aiming to do nothing

But yet succeed

With much purpose and direction

And to never become

Aimlessly or in vain

For when the dust settles

Hopefully nothing but good shall remain

beacon of hope

beacon of light

Scattering and displaying about

For many to cope

And to move away from the dark

While looking through a lighted scope

That prevails mainly at night

But also, many other places

And facets of life

The beacon
