Crossing Borders

Cross Series: Poem 2 of 5

There must be some order

And some type of procedure

Usually when

People cross borders

Rolling up to the line

And to their surprise

The very line

Seen with your very own eyes

Yet also stared at for miles

Away from the starting point

With assistance to move across

From efforts of those that are joint

And paramount in making this happen

Or to see it through

And having some clue

With hope stuck like glue

To go and ensue

And forgo feeling blue

If you don’t go through

With this at all

You’ll wish you had to

Because the one

That has to live with

The decision or consequence

Is you

So, try to keep your life

In some type of positive order

And most definitely before

You decide

To cross any borders
